»Diesen Namen [de profundis] trug auch eine rein akusmatische Komposition von Tim Helbig – in der Klangregie von Peter Helmut Lang die zweite Uraufführung des Abends. Über vier Lautsprecher ertönte ein tieffrequentes Wummern, das Rieseln von Sand, Geräusche von Autoreifen auf einem Kiesweg. Herzschläge, Knacklaute, eingebettet in eine nicht unmittelbar erkennbare Struktur. Schließlich keuchender Atem, ein Streichholz wird entzündet: vielleicht, um etwas Licht in die Tiefe zu bringen.«
